Senior Flash Platform AIR / Flex Developer
We're looking for someone with an excellent all round knowledge of Flash Platform development to join our team in our Luton office. You'll be deploying applications in Flash, Flex and AIR to the desktop and browser and have a keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest developments in the Flash Platform world.
You will get involved in the complete development life cycle for a variety of critical client-facing projects and will be comfortable architecting the front end of complex RIA’s as part of a larger development team.
You will have experience with implementing 3rd party frameworks and libraries – including 3D, physics engines etc.
Required skills
• ActionScript 3.0
• Flex Builder 3 (+4) IDE & SDK – Excellent knowledge of framework and components (good knowledge of capabilities and limitations)
• Flash IDE
• Extensive knowledge of Object Oriented programming (OOPS) concepts using Design Patterns like MVC, Business Delegate, Factory, Adapter, Singleton, DAO, Front Controller, Data Transfer Object, Session Facade, Service Locator, Proxy etc.
• Ability to work with a variety of design frameworks - Caringorm experience preferred (Pure MVC, Mate etc).
• AMF / XML / WebServices.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Tools for manipulating creative designs provided to you for skinning purposes.
• Experience in using and administrating version management tools like Subversion/CVS or TFS along with various Build and Automation techniques.
• Ability to document code and communicate complex requirements and problems in a clear fashion to non technical stakeholders.
• Self motivated with excellent time management skills.
Previous experience of Touchscreen, Wayfinding, iPhone and Interactive applications a distinct advantage.
Additional likely skills
• Broad understanding of web and mobile, front and back end technologies which may include JavaScript / HTML / Java / PHP / .Net etc
• Knowledge of .NET and Flash integration with MS back-end tech a bonus.
• Experience with Unit and Automated Testing
• Experience with deploying video to the web using Flash – FMS or similar a bonus

Digital Art Director
Working for IB, a highly successful UK based digital services company, you’ll be working on international projects for well known brands in sports & leisure, business, retail and city environments.
You’ll be working with an established intimate creative design team, helping elevate creative standards to the highest in the industry.
You will take a leading role in the strategic development and direction of the design team, directly influencing the interactive team to ensure the creative concept is realised in the final result.
You’ll also be working with the senior management team to develop key strategies, getting highly involved in new business opportunities as well as established client projects.
Recent projects include touchscreen applications, websites, email marketing, i-phone applications and multi channel marketing campaigns.
Based in modern offices right in the centre of Bristol, in a relaxed environment, working amongst a larger team that are managing creative, production and development teams in both Bristol and our North London offices.
You’ll need to have had agency experience that has focused on a strong understanding of digital media, preferably in context of web, email, mobile and touch screens. We’re looking for someone who is progressive and likes innovation. Previous man management will be considered a strength but is not essential.
